Optical Fiber Identifier is an important tool for optical maintenance, which is used for nondestructive fiber identification project. GW3308 fiber detector /fiber identifier is designed with visual fault locator (VFL) function and optical power meter(OPM) function.This device not only has the functions of a conventional fiber detector- non-destructive fiber optic identification and testing work can be carried out at any position of single-mode and multi-mode fibers, but also has the necessary optical power module for fiber optic link construction, maintenance and testing, as well as red light visual fault location function. It is a versatile tool for current fiber optic network maintenance and testing.

By adopting the macro bending technology on line for nondestructive testing, it can measure the signal direction and power and avoid mis-operation which might result in interrupted lines.Macro bending is the use of fiber bending to detect the direction and intensity of weak light signals when they leak. It will not damage the fiber optic cable, will not interrupt communication, and can directly detect 2.5mm bare fiber optic cables, 0.9mm and 2.5mm fiber optic patch cords.
